Andrzej Tomaszewski – art painter and draftsman. Known for his unique visual language, blending surrealism and magical realism. His works balance on the border of dream and reality. Using a distinct color palette and techniques, he stands out among magical realism artists. His art often portrays deformed characters and hybrid forms in an undefined, timeless space between reality and dream. With technical mastery and deep symbolism, his art prompts reflection on human existence and the conscious-subconscious dichotomy. Born in 1966 in Konin, Tomaszewski is a self-taught artist who has mastered various mediums like charcoal, ink, pastels, and acrylics. His fascination with human emotions is evident in his surrealistic style. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, with his pieces in private collections and art galleries at home and abroad. Tomaszewskis works have been featured in renowned auction houses like Desa Unicum and Rempex. Recently, his art was showcased in multiple exhibitions like the Real Surrealism – 30 Years series, celebrating his 30-year artistic journey in various museums across Poland.
